Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 June 2026
These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of AppealGo (the 'Service'), operated by AppealGo ('we', 'us', 'our'). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What AppealGo does
AppealGo is an AI-assisted tool that helps you challenge parking charges and Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in the United Kingdom. You upload a photo of your ticket; we read the details, prepare an appeal in your name, and — where a supported route exists — submit that appeal to the relevant council or private parking operator on your behalf.
AppealGo is a document-preparation and submission tool, not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or representation. See our Disclaimer for more.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is intended for parking tickets issued in the United Kingdom. You may only submit appeals for tickets that relate to you, or that you are otherwise authorised to deal with (for example, as the registered keeper of the vehicle).
3. Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@appealgo.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Authorisation to act on your behalf
When you ask us to submit an appeal, you authorise AppealGo to:
- use the information you provide (and the details read from your ticket) to prepare an appeal in your name;
- submit that appeal to the relevant council or parking operator, including via their online portals, by email, or by post; and
- use a service email address (such as appeals@appealgo.com) as a contact point for correspondence about your appeal.
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown on the Service before you pay. We currently offer a single appeal for a one-off fee, and an unlimited annual plan billed once per year. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
- Discount and referral codes may reduce the price. Codes can be limited in number of uses, restricted to certain products, withdrawn, or expire at any time.
- Unlimited plan grants you the ability to prepare and submit appeals for 12 months from purchase. It does not renew automatically unless stated at checkout.
6. Refunds
Because the Service is a digital service that begins as soon as you ask us to prepare and submit your appeal, you agree that the service starts immediately and that your statutory 14-day right to cancel (where it would otherwise apply) ends once we have begun preparing or submitting your appeal. Nothing in these Terms affects your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law. If something has gone wrong, contact us at support@appealgo.com and we will deal with it fairly.
7. No guarantee of outcome
Whether an appeal succeeds is decided by the council or parking operator, not by us. We cannot and do not guarantee that any appeal will be accepted, that a charge will be cancelled, or that a deadline will be met. You remain responsible for monitoring deadlines and for paying any charge that is ultimately upheld.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.
- Check the deadlines on your ticket and act in time — appeals submitted late may be rejected.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose, and do not upload anyone else's information without authority.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to AppealGo and is protected by law. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms. The appeal letter we prepare for you is yours to use for your own appeal.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, AI providers used to read tickets and draft appeals, and the councils and parking operators we submit to. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, decisions, or availability of those third parties.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, AppealGo is not liable for:
- the outcome of any appeal, any charge that is upheld, or any missed deadline;
- indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, opportunity, or data; and
- any matter outside our reasonable control, including third-party failures.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the appeal in question.
12. Indemnity
You agree to reimburse us for reasonable losses we suffer because you have used the Service in breach of these Terms or unlawfully, including by providing false information or submitting an appeal you were not entitled to make.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. You can stop using the Service at any time.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
